As expected with a closed beta, content updates are slow and small as most of the bugs get worked out, as is probably the case with this patch. This is the first ever gKR patch after all.
Content additions are small with this patch; 1 new track, 1 new kart, and 1 new plate. The added track, Penguin Town, is another item track though it could be good for speed races as well. The Burst C1 has a little more speed and a little less control from its rival Cotton C1, and the new plate has a flame-like design with the letters C A R on the back of it. (In the future, there could be an item that allows you to change this.)
What they’ve done on the backend side, as per bug fixes and all that, I’m not too sure of as I didn’t spend much time playing after the patch. Hopefully I’ll notice something tonight when I play it again.
